Currently, Mr. Conti supervises all the operations of the corporation. He directs all field projects, reviews each bid and proposal, and governs the company's strategic planning, marketing, equipment maintenance, and financial activities. Mr. Conti instituted the computerization of the company's bidding and scheduling procedures; congruently he established management reporting systems allowing the company's entry into new markets. As the President/CEO, he directly supervises the senior level managers in meeting the goals of the corporation. Mr. Conti is the Executive Sponsor on all industrial projects undertaken by the company. His personal attention to detail and safety and his thorough knowledge of infrastructure development is a major asset to the company's outstanding reputation in the industrial and power segments of the infrastructure market. Proven History of Successful Startups Since becoming CEO of The Conti Group in 1995, Kurt Conti has profitably grown this private company from a $15 million construction and engineering firm to a $350 million multi–divisional business; one that is recognized nationally as an industry leader in heavy construction, power and industrial, environmental remediation and building. Under Kurt’s guidance, The Conti Group now includes Conti Enterprises, Inc., Conti Federal, Services, Inc., Conti Services, LLC, Conti of New York, LLC, Conti of PA, LLC, Alternity Wind Power, LLC, SunDurance Energy, LLC, Lehigh Fab & Precast, LLC and Oakwood Capital, LLC. In 2005, Kurt launched Alternity Power, to implement on-site energy generation projects. With expert resources for delivering environmental projects along with knowledge of state and local ordinances and proven expertise in complex engineering and construction, Kurt created a company that creates turn-key alternative energy resources that address the country’s growing renewable energy needs. Alternity Power has now grown into two separate companies Alternity Wind Power which has a focus on the Wind Farm development market and SunDurance Energy which has a focus in the Solar Power development markets. Earlier, Kurt successfully started-up, managed and sold Langard Machinery, a business that rented and sold heavy construction machinery and Conti Communications, a firm that constructed cell towers for the wireless telecommunications industry. Kurt also is a founding charter member of the HillTop Community Bank. Kurt graduated cum laude from Villanova University in 1984 with a BSCE. He is a member of the phi kappa phi, tau beta pi and chi epsilon Honor Societies. Kurt is a former member of the Villanova University, College of Engineering Advisory Board. Mr. Conti has a comprehensive background and personal experience in all aspects of infrastructure development as well as overall management of a firm that currently generates $350 million in annual revenue and employs more than 700 professionals. As the fourth generation in the Conti chain, he is experienced in all of the different facets of the infrastructure development market, from heavy/civil construction and rehabilitation to industrial, power, and environmental projects. Upon entering college, Mr. Conti had already accumulated more field experience than many of his professors. This practical background coupled with his academic success played a major role in the growth of the firm over the last two decades.
